'Parents are unbelievably delusional': Teachers share out-of-pocket requests from the parents of their students

Teaching is a very under-appreciated career path. Oftentimes, teachers are dealing with overcrowded classrooms, so while they're trying to teach one student to spell 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious', they're juggling a gaggle of banshees starting a coup in the opposite corner. The last thing most teachers need heaped on their plate is the asinine demands of feral parents.

For some reason, teachers have to go head-to-head with overbearing parents who are pushy, overwhelming, and, frankly, completely entitled. Newsflash to the moms and dads of the class: Teachers aren't their personal maids, wet nurses, or nannies. Teachers are privy to set the boundaries of their craft and can certainly say 'no' to some of the more ridiculous parent requests.
